JUSTIFICATION SECTION: 01. Indicate the name of the current registrant of the resources to be transferred, exactly as it appears in ARIN's WHOIS database today. 02. Indicate the name of the organization to which the resources will be transferred. 03. Enter the registered ARIN Org ID to which the resources listed in fields 05. and 07. should be transferred. If you are unsure of your Org ID, please search for your organization's name in ARIN's WHOIS database. If you do not have an Org ID, leave this field blank. 04. Clearly state the reason for this transfer request. Include all transactions such as mergers, acquisitions, etc. that tie these two organizations together. If there are multiple transactions or organizations involved, please include all of them. ARIN will need supporting documentation. This can be attached now or provided later in the request process. REGISTRATION SECTION: 05. Indicate a single AS number to be transferred. If there are multiple AS numbers to be transferred, duplicate fields 05. and 06. as needed. 06. Indicate the new AS name for the AS number in field 05. The AS name is used as an identifier. Supply a short name consisting of a combination of up to 50 letters and/or numbers. You may use a dash (-) as part of the AS name, but no other special characters, such as periods or underscores. If you leave this field blank, the current AS name will be used. 07. Indicate a single IP address range to be transferred. If there are multiple IP address blocks to be transferred, duplicate fields 07. through 12. as needed. 08. If the IP address block listed in field 07. is in use, please provide a detailed description of how it is used in support of your network, products, and services today. Examples include numbering internal hosts, numbering customer interfaces, or supporting specific products and services your organization offers. 09. If the IP address block listed in field 07. is in use, please indicate the number of IP addresses from the block that are currently in use. If the IP address range is not in use, please indicate NONE. 10. Indicate the new Network Name for the IP address range in field 07. The Network Name is used as an identifier. Supply a short name consisting of a combination of up to 50 letters and/or numbers. You may use a dash (-) as part of the network name, but no other special characters, such as periods or underscores. If you leave this field blank, the current network name will be used. 11. List all AS numbers from which the network may originate. You can list as many AS numbers as necessary. You must separate multiple AS numbers with a comma. You may not list AS number ranges; only list individual AS numbers. 12. Provide fully-qualified host names for the servers that will be providing in-addr.arpa or ip6.arpa name services. DO NOT LIST IP ADDRESSES. Networks should provide at least two (but not more than thirteen) distinct nameservers for providing address-to-name mapping for hosts in the network. To specify more than two, duplicate field 12. as necessary. Do not list multiple servers on a single line. 13. Use this section to provide additional information to ARIN.
